A Reminder to Shine πβ€οΈβ¨
This morning, at 6 a.m., I had a deeply inspiring βThe Workβ session with one of the loveliest women from Australia. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
Two souls on opposite sides of the world β yet such an extraordinarily deep connection was created between us. β€οΈβ¨
After our session, she sent me these powerful words by Marianne Williamson, which Nelson Mandela quoted during his inauguration speech:
βOur deepest fear is not that we are inadequate β our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people wonβt feel insecure around you.
We are meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
Itβs not just in some of us β itβs in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.β
These words are so powerful that, although I had planned to go to sleep by midnight, I simply couldnβt rest without translating and sharing them with you first. (In the original post, I translated those words into Georgian)
Let us return to ourselves β and dare to shine. β¨πβοΈ
Because this is who we truly are. πΈβ€οΈπ
