The First Steps on My Inner Journey 🌿✨
Nana Chachua at my book presentation, 2018

I started working on myself quite early in life. I remember being 13 years old when I bought my very first personal growth book — Dale Carnegie. It was such an interesting read, especially at that age when you’re making new friends and diving into the world of social connections.
Back then, I was changing schools often, which worried my mom a lot. So, she decided to take me to a psychologist — and that’s how I stepped into this fascinating world called psychology. I was 13.
My mom took me to Nana Chachua, who became my first teacher and a true role model. To this day, she remains one of the people I respect and admire the most. 🌸
Nana led a psychological–intellectual group, and I began attending regularly. The group included people of all ages — teenagers and adults — and I stayed there for seven years. It became one of the most inspiring chapters of my life.
We watched psychological films together, which Nana would then interpret and analyze from different perspectives. We read and discussed books, engaged in various activities, and had incredibly deep conversations.
I still remember how amazed I was by Nana’s way of thinking. She could explore a single topic through psychological, philosophical, religious, mythological, economic, and scientific lenses — and I would sit there completely captivated, just listening. Her wisdom, curiosity, and multidimensional mind left a lasting impression on me.
Nana, along with my family, played a huge role in shaping my values and worldview, and I will always be grateful for that. I’m proud to have spent so many years learning from her in such a close, meaningful way — absorbing both intellectual and spiritual nourishment.
And I’m deeply thankful to my mom, who brought me to Nana and took me there for all those years with so much love and support. 🙏🏻❤️☀️🥰
Who was that first person in your life who made a deep impression on you and helped shape who you are today? 🥰❤️
