Wednesday Reflections and a Mandala of Life π¨πΈ
September 29, 2021
I truly love coloring mandalas π₯°π₯° And you?
Last year, during a two-week quarantine in the pandemic, I started coloring them β inspired by Nino Kandelaki π₯°π₯°
This time, for the first time, I tried watercolors β before that, I used to color with pencils. My mother-in-law and I bought mandalas printed on canvas, sat at the table β me on one side, her on the other β and started painting. It was such a warm, lovely process π₯°π₯°π₯° Later, Artemβs little sister joined us, and she started painting with us too π¨π¨π¨
Last night I finished coloring my mandala, and it feels so nice to look at the finished piece π₯°π₯°π₯°
Itβs a beautiful process of self-observation β you choose colors, sometimes they fit perfectly, sometimes you wonder if another color might have worked better. But when you finally look at the whole picture, you realize how beautifully it all comes together ππ
To me, itβs very much like life itself. Sometimes an event seems out of place, unnecessary, or even wrong β but when you look back, you see that everything happened exactly as it should have, each piece fitting like a puzzle into a bigger picture π₯°π₯°π₯°
