“Today, when I woke up early in the morning, I suddenly realized that today will be the best day of my life! I scattered all doubts and simply decided that today, the whole day, will be a celebration for me!
Today, I choose to be grateful—for myself, for my life, because I’ve had an amazing journey; grateful for every victory and achievement, for every inspiration, and of course, for every challenge I’ve faced, because it’s thanks to them that I’ve become this strong.
This day I will live with my head held high and my heart full of happiness! I will be thankful to God for every simple, seemingly ordinary detail around me: for the morning dew, the sun, the clouds, the trees, the flowers, and the birds. Today, I will be the most attentive person in the whole world! Today, I will share my joy and happiness with the people around me.
Because of me, someone will smile today! Today I will do something unusual and kind for a complete stranger and offer the most sincere compliment to someone who feels down for some reason… I will tell a child that they are truly special! And to that one person I love deeply, I will say how much I love them and how much they mean in my life.
Today I will stop worrying about what I don’t have and instead be grateful to God for everything, for all the greatness that surrounds me in this world! I know and I remember that anxiety and worry are nothing more than wasting precious time… while my strong faith in myself will carry me toward my goals!
And tonight, before going to sleep, I will step outside and look up at the sky—at the infinite heavens studded with millions of stars. Captivated by the brilliance of the stars and the silver beauty of the moon, I will thank God for all the wonders and greatness that surround me.
And when I finally lay my head on the pillow, I will be grateful to God and to the Universe for this best, most wonderful day! And I will fall asleep like a happy child who eagerly awaits tomorrow—because it, too, will be the best day of my life!”
