Life Is an Open Book Before Us—We Just Need to Learn How to Read It
8 April, 2016
I’d like to share the story of one of my clients. I have her permission to tell it here for you as well… of course, confidentiality is protected, and I won’t be mentioning any names 🙂
This story beautifully shows how our inner state is connected to the events that unfold around us in daily life, and how—consciously or unconsciously—we are always creating our own reality.
About 10 days ago, we had a session. She wanted to take more responsibility for her own life—to feel that she herself was leading it, instead of others deciding her fate. She felt as if she wasn’t in charge of her own life.
In the process, we went back to her childhood and uncovered one specific experience. Even though 24 years had passed, she had never truly released it. She was about 13–14 years old, visiting relatives, when a slightly older young man was so charmed by her that he said out loud he would even marry her one day. Naturally, her parents and relatives made a lot of noise about it, saying she was still a child and shutting down even the possibility of them properly meeting.
Deep down, she was fascinated by this young man, but the strong protest from her family silenced her. She didn’t dare to say a word, so she quietly obeyed. After that day, she never spoke about it again. The unexpressed feelings and thoughts stayed inside her heart, and she decided to forget about it. Still, deep down, she often thought of him. But she felt she was too small, that she didn’t have the right to express her interest—even just to say no with her own voice.
Her subconscious formed a belief from this: I am small, others decide for me, and my life is controlled by adults and others.
Even recalling this memory during the session was shocking for her. She had buried it so deeply, she thought she had forgotten. But her subconscious hadn’t forgotten—and it kept replaying similar situations in her adult life, where she felt like that small girl again, letting “the adults” run her life.
Now, in her mid-30s, she longed to step forward, to act boldly, to voice her truth. But inside she still felt like that 13-year-old girl who had no voice. That inner feeling was stopping her from fully living and expressing herself.
Through a guided process, we worked with this situation. Together, we released a huge amount of negative emotions—hurt, anger, disappointment, pain. We completely transformed the story, turning it 180 degrees. By the end, she even felt gratitude toward everyone involved in that memory. We understood the lesson her subconscious had been holding onto, and she was finally able to shift it in a new, empowering direction.
At the end of the session, we even joked: What if, after all these years, she happened to meet him again by chance? She laughed and said that now, she would actually feel open and even happy to greet him. Before the session, this was unimaginable—her resistance was too strong. But afterward, she could genuinely imagine meeting him with warmth.
And… the miracle happened. Just a few days later, she called me—shocked, amazed, emotional. She had actually met him. After 24 years!!! By complete chance, in a place she almost never goes.
This is the kind of wonder that unfolds when we shift inside. It wasn’t just “coincidence.” Nothing in life is random, my friends 🙂 Everything is orchestrated from within. Everything happens according to how ready we are to receive it.
She hadn’t seen this person in 24 years—but once we worked through, released, and freed her from the weight of that old experience, life mirrored it back almost instantly. The universe responded with a message: you’ve let go, you’re free. And the very person tied to that memory appeared, so they could greet each other with warmth and love.
What happens inside of us is always reflected outside of us. Life is a mirror of our inner state and inner world. Every change we make within is instantly reflected in our outer reality.
It’s an incredible sense of power to truly recognize these cause-and-effect connections—what some call “coincidences.” But once you begin to consciously create your life, you understand these are not accidents at all. They are natural, predictable patterns that show you how aligned you are with your true path ❤
When you start living consciously, even the most difficult and challenging situations transform into fascinating opportunities. Because you know you are creating them from the inside—and with the right support, you can shift them from within, moving forward freely with new energy, new awareness, and new perspectives.
This is one of my most cherished insights—the one that gave me enormous inner power when I first understood it. So often, we think life is happening to us. But in reality, life is happening through us. It is shaped by our beliefs about life, about ourselves, about what we think is possible.
Even if 10, 20, or 30 years pass, deep inside there may still live that child—10 years old, hurt, treated unfairly—still looking at life through that pain. And if left unconscious, those emotions and beliefs will continue running our thoughts, our choices, our actions.
As Byron Katie says: we grow and mature not with age, but with awareness—with the growth of consciousness. The more we become aware of ourselves, our thoughts, our emotions, the more we understand how we are creating our reality every single day.
The good news is—we all have the power to break the cycle. Through inner work, through awareness of our thoughts and patterns, we can transform our reality. We can release what no longer serves us and consciously create the life we truly desire ❤
Let’s become conscious creators of our lives ❤❤❤
P.S. Stay tuned—I’ll soon be sharing about my new program, called “Inner Power.”
