This is the house where Sigmund Freud and Anna Freud lived. Sigmund moved here in 1938, after the Nazis occupied Vienna. He lived here until the end of his life—and so did Anna.

For Freud, London symbolized freedom ✨✨✨

It was truly fascinating to walk through their home, to see their personal belongings, and to feel such a close connection to the history of psychology and psychoanalysis. The museum holds many unique glimpses into Freud’s life and work.
