When the Universe Grants Your Christmas Wish… in Its Own Creative Way 😅✨🎄

This is already the second time something like this has happened to me — the first was when I was flying from Lisbon and didn’t want to leave, and now it’s happened again. 😅

This morning, I was supposed to fly back to Tbilisi. The Christmas holidays flew by so quickly, and I really wanted to stay with Artem a little longer. Every night before bed, I say the Lord’s Prayer, and last night, after praying, I quietly told God: “I know I have so much to do in Tbilisi, the big book launch is coming up soon… but what if tomorrow’s flight gets postponed and I can stay just one more day? After all, it’s Christmas — that’s when wishes come true, right?”
I let the wish go… and fell asleep.

In the morning, we headed to the airport. I kept checking the flight status on my phone, thinking to myself — what if my thoughts really materialize?

We arrived, standing in the check-in line, when suddenly an airport staff member came and calmly announced:
“Dear passengers, please leave the building quietly and calmly, without panic.”

Voilà!

It turned out there had been a bomb threat at Odessa Airport, and everyone was evacuated. We waited outside for two hours while they checked the building. By the time the inspection was done, my flight was already delayed. When they finally resumed boarding, I went to check in — and was told that the Tbilisi connection could no longer be made. They rescheduled me for tomorrow’s flight.

And you know what they say — be careful what you wish for, because it might come true! 😄

I really should review my goals and wishes again — to make sure I’m phrasing them correctly, because clearly, thoughts and intentions carry incredible power! 😂✨ I can’t help but smile at the humor and creativity of the universe in this funny situation.
